Joanne Adams Primary Tuition and Happy Hedgehog Learning prides its service on complementing the National Curriculum objectives and 'best practice methods recognised in the education sector, to provide the best possible outcomes for every child.
Tuition normally begins with a low key assessment to identify each child's needs: their strengths, weaknesses and level of confidence. This forms the basis of a personalised plan for each student.
We recognise that every child has individual learning style and learns at a different pace. Whether your child is struggling at school or has a desire to be stretched, Joanne offers a variety of different ways to learn.
Online Tuition
Joanne has enjoyed working with primary pupils online nationally and internationally for over 5 years now. Through Zoom and a host of interactive digital resources, children can learn in the comfort of their own home. It reduces travelling time and enables parents an opportunity to gain a better understanding of how their children learn and the strategies taught in schools. Parents are emailed a short report after each session with homework activities where appropriate. 1:1 sessions start at £35 per hour and group sessions start at £20. Parents are welcome to trial online lessons without a long term commitment.
Programmes and Group Tuition
Joanne Adams Primary Tuition is expanding the variety of group programmes it offers through its new brand: Happy Hedgehog Learning. There are a variety of Learning Programmes and Group Tuition opportunities currently available: - 11+ Maths Tuition (Y5) Tuesdays 6:15pm - Year 4 Maths Tuition Tuesdays 5pm - Year 5 Maths Tuition Wednesdays 4pm - Year 6 Maths Tuition Thursdays 6:15pm - 11+ Verbal Reasoning Programme (14 weeks) starts September and January each year. Every session is live online and delivered by qualified teacher, Joanne Adams. Prices start at just £15.
